This year Laurel Middle School will be helping families through the Mitten Tree program. Please see communication below.
Dear Parents/ Guardians,
As the holiday season approaches, there is a willingness of the Laurel Community to help children and families who have a difficult financial time during the holiday season. This letter is being written with the hope that those willing to give can be matched with those families who have needs.
If you have a need for clothing or gifts for your children, please email Mrs. Krueger, LMS Counselor, with the following information:
Name of requesting person
Active phone number
Student(s) Name(s), Age, Gender
Clothes, Toy, Personal items description. Please be sure to include specific sizes including (infant, toddler, kids, juniors, women's, men's).
Mrs. Krueger and Mrs. Cooper, LMS Honor Club advisors, will be the only school personnel with knowledge of your request. Gift requests received by the deadline will be written on individual mittens and placed on a "mitten tree" at several local churches. Gift requests will be a $30 maximum.
Please email your requests to Mrs. Krueger, LMS Counselor, at email@example.com by 4pm Thursday, Dec 7th with your requests.
Packages will need to be picked up from Grace Bible Church (917 Washington Ave, Laurel, MT) on Sunday, Dec 18th from 10:00am- 12:00pm by the requesting families.
A new club is starting at LMS! LMS Sewing Club will be open to any student 6-8th that would like to join. Students will meet in Mrs. Kuhr's room #202. Our first meeting will be Thursday February 9th right after school until 5:00PM. At that meeting we will discuss projects and fabric needs. We will be meeting twice a month on Thursdays, 3:30-5:00 PM. The dates go as following
